whats in a name...

so I'm stuck with the name applehead studio simply because its kind of what got this all started....and i kind of prefer to work as a pseudonym of sorts than my own name.

anyway, where did the name come from you ask?

 

...drinking with Jeff, Keith and Doug. 

Someone gets sleepy. 

Someone finds a camera.

Next thing you know an apple on someone's head will make you buckle over in laughter. 

The photo stuck around for a while and right around when I started takin' photos Jeff says, "Look at Applehead"

...and the rest is history.

Hurricane Kyle didn't show but a super fun bride and groom sure did. Erin and Sean were a blast. They were up for anything...including Starbucks photoshoots and a brief encounter w a territorial street person. Thanks for a great shoot guys!!!

The new website is finally live!

The next time I embark on some journey to design a new website AND and have a new baby at the same time...by all means come over and beat me senseless.  The last 10 days have been an attempt to get Lola to sleep so I could come down here and work on the site...sometimes I had her in one hand and typed with the other but most times it was her who had me wrapped around her fingers.

so anyway, here it is...the new Applehead Studio Photography website. I hope you like it. I really really hope you like it. Keep in mind that I'm the guy who wants to open xmas present the week before...so I may have been a wee bit hasty in putting it up before working out all the little bugs.

...and thanks Marse for changin a few extra diapers, doing a few extra feedings and just being all all around superstar while I hid down here. i love ya baby!

...as if blog learning wasn't enough I also decided to give a go at slideshows...here's the result from Tammy and Andrew's wedding. If it wasn't for the 2 hours drive home...Marty and I would have stayed for what was sure to be one helluva party. Thanks guys.
